Extra gold star I see that some columnists have an extra gold star next to their name, what is that for, and how do i get it? :)
[ ] Want to answer more questions in the Miscellaneous category? Maybe give some free advice about: Random Weirdos?
The star means that they are a member, they supported advicenators by sending in a money order to remove ad's. i also think you can see who is asking the question, im not sure but it should be in the FAQ on how to get it! ]
I believe the gold star is actually for paid accounts. You can purchase a paid account for only $10 a year. To me, it is way worth it simply because you no longer see those crazy ads all over the site. You get a bunch of extra features, as in being able to see the questioner's gender, age, feedback score (how many people they have actually rated), average feedback (what they usually rate people), and all of their previous questions. You can also see if they have any unread answers, so you have a better idea if the person has read your answer yet or not. The only thing you can't really see is their username, but being able to see their past questions is a huge help in giving good advice!
You can get a paid account here:

...or by clicking the "Get MORE Stuff!" link at the top of Advicenators, and even the link to the side of the website under Miscellaneous labeled as "Paid Accounts."
Oh, and I almost forgot, you also get access to something called "Supporter Discussion" so you're able to communicate on a board about Advicenators with other paid-account users. ]
