I just found out I'm pregnant and I know I should give my baby what is best for him/her but I really don't know much about pregnancy. This is going to be my first baby and it was completely unplanned so I'm pretty nervous/scared.
Anyway, I got to thinking yesterday about the things I eat and how healthy they might be for the baby. Then I was thinking...like, you're not suppose to give dogs chocolate (or so I heard) and stuff like that...you know, rules about foods...is there anything I'm not suppose to eat while I'm pregnant?
I have a doctor's appointment in two weeks but I want to get a jump-start on this...so if anybody can list some things I can and cannot eat while pregnant I would be really happy so I can show my doctor that I'm serious about caring for my baby.
Oh, and what about things I NEED to eat while pregnant?

Make sure your taking prenatal vitamins, your eating plenty of protein, your eating well and your getting plenty of exercise, and make sure that you have fat in your diet!

I am really interested in studying abroad but have no idea where I would want to go. I know places that would be good for business or architecture, but what about math? (I am a math major.) (link)

Well, it depends where you are from, first of all. Because architecture is different in every part of this world. So lets say you're from the US, and you want to study abroad for architecture in... london. Their homes are much different then the ones in the US. You have to think about what kind of architecture, homes, buildings, even parks.
Business it also depends, be a little bit more clear. my sisters boyfriend came from england to the US to study abroad and he majored in psychology and he loved it!

i have the nap cuddle blanket (no joke i have it around me right now) and i have a twin bed and it doesnt cover my twin bed at all, i use it when im just hanging out, its not big enough to sleep with. the luxe is 40 x 60 so that seems pretty big but not big enough if your boyfriend sleeps with his legs straight.
id probably go with the all season blanket, it looks really big because it has 2 people in the picture.
and i swear, these blankets are the most comfortable thing ever. hell love it!

Yes, when purchasing the a mac it gives you an option (costy, but well worth it) to add a microsoft package for like 300 dollars.
i didnt get it, so i have something called textedit. i dont have powerpoint, it sucks, i regret not asking for the microsoft package.

Well, it depends what phone company you have. I have verizon, i have the envtouch. that allowed you to use a touch screen or a qwerty keyboard, the touch screen also has a qwerty keyboard if you hold it a certain way. but if you hold it straight up, it is a regluar keypad. i love this phone!
touch screen is the new technology now-a-days.
you can always get a blackberry, every cell company has those. it has a qwerty keyboard, like the blackberry storm, all touch screen but you have to CLICK the touch screen to hit a button. its pretty nifty.
EDIT****** you have the option of using a qwerty keyboard or not.

that sounds like a sick theme, ive never heard of something like that. its really original. i'm not sure how it can work, but i know stores like hot topic or spencers sell blacklight lightbulbs.
talk to the place where your having the sweet 16, they can guide you to what you need.
as for a dress, maybe tell everyone to wear black. and you wear white. becuase white shows up the most in a blacklight. and black, just stays black..right?

I'm addicted to shoplifting. I've been doing it for about a year and a half now. It was my 2009 New Year's Resolution to stop shoplifting...but I didn't. I've been shoplifting weekly for about a year. I steal everything from makeup, jewelry, clothes, chapstick, food, pens, and headphones.
Today I went shopping with my sister (she used to steal, too, but she doesn't anymore). We went into a store and I stole two pairs of pants. Then we went to a store across the street and I stole a pair of shoes, a shirt, and two drinks. My sister saw all the stuff when we got home and told me she would never shop with me again. She's my best friend and this makes me sad. :(
I hate that I shoplift. But I also love it. I love getting new things, and I love the adrenaline rush. I know it's not worth it, and I know it's illegal. How do I stop? Please help me. And how do I get my sister to trust me again? (link)

Well, my friend recently got arrested for shoplifting in the mall. She was on a FBI tab and a person would follow her around the mall because they knew she was shoplifting, and they wanted to get her at the perfect time and they finally did. She got 70 hours of community service, she cannot go into a MACY*S, Lord & Taylor or CVS store anymore, and now its on her permanent record, and its going to be annoying for her to get into college and get a job because she has to check YES to being arrested and she has to explain what happened. No job or school will want a thief as an employee/student
i have to admit i have shoplifted before, if i ever found a shirt i liked without a sensor on it i would. Once i saw a 200 dollar shirt by free people in Lord & Taylor that didn't have a sensor on it so i just went into the dressing room with a couple things and put it in one of my shopping bags. It was a nice feeling knowing that i got it for free, but i also felt guilty.
It will be hard to get your sisters trust back, your just going to have to stop and start paying for your stuff. I know its a pain spending your own money but your going to have to, to get your sisters trust back.
Good luck and please, dont get caught. My friend is upset now that she has a FBI tab on her and shes being watched.

im told not to tell a soul because its getting somewhat taken care of. so il ask un-named. my bff is very badly depressed bc her moms boyfriend abused her so she told her mom after a while and he killed her mom and he went to jail which was a little over a year ago. now she lives with her grandparents. her grandpa is very bad bipolar and abuses her as well but only her none of her younger siblings. today she finally told me about what her grandpa does and showed me her new bruise which is very bad, it is like right on under her breast an its bloody red and very swollen and stuff she wont even put anything on it because its swollen and itd make it bigger. still which happend two days ago it even ripped her shirt. this weekend he is going to treatment for bipolar so she is running away and staying with a certain friend because he will be very bad. he is also their only source of income since the grandma cant work so if he goes they go homeless. hes going into treatment so it will maybe get better and if she gets taken away hed probly go for her little siblings so she wants to stay and take it for them. she also has anger management problems and depression so shes very agressive to people but i dont blame her. what can i do? any advice on any of this and as much advice as possible?! its getting better so i am not telling. im almost 16 and she is 14 (link)

You really need to tell someone who is responsible about this problem, this is very common and it usually gets to the point where the abuser kills the child. Really, (knock on wood) if she got hurt to the point that she died, would you feel bad? Your the only other person that knows, so your somewhat responsible. You and your friend really need to take action and call the abusive hotline

Okay, I admit: I think farting is hilarious. I can't for the life of me figure out why, though. It's not just fart jokes either. Like the one about the blind guy who was sitting on the trolley complaining to the guy standing next to him that he was mumbling and his breath smelt horrible. I thought that I'd grow out of it eventually, but no... I still laugh when I fart or someone else farts. So... does anyone else think farting is the funniest thing that your body can do? It must be nature's very own comedy routine, right? You make gas and your sphincter turns that gas into a funny sound when you push it out. It must be an intentional evolutionary feature. (link)

yes, this is verbal abuse. although he may not physically touch you, words can still hurt. you might want to talk to your mom about this, or a school counselor or a trusted adult. they can help you.

Okay you know how when your were a young kid and you woke up the day after christmas, and you had that feeling. Like, I am not sure... like you owned the world. And you had so much to play with, and everything.
Well now i am 15 and the only thing i can think of that i want is money.
I know it sounds crazy the not want to ask for money, but i don't want to.
I wanna feel like a kid again. But I have not clue what to ask for, i don't know what I want!

hmmm... here are some ideas....
you could ask for a new laptop! like a macbook or a dell or a HP.
a gift card to a makeup store so you can restock/get new stuff.
a boarders / local book store gift card.
a new ipod? like the new ipod nano with the videocamera in it.. 8 gig is only 143 bucks or something like that ;).

I have the Clean and Clear Advantage 3-in-1 exfoliating cleanser. (This is to wash your face with up to two times a day)

Well, what kind of acne-treatment does your face stuff contain? salicylic acid? benzoyl perioxide? how much does each one hold? it really depends on how sensative your face is, i went to my dermatologist and it was a cream with two different things (i know there was benzoyl peroxide in it) and something else, and it made my face all dry so i didnt continue using it.
but i used to use the acne advantage kit. the silver ones that comes with the acne control moisturizer, this clear zit dissapearer stuff and the clean and clear face wash. and it was all evened out so even with the most sensitive skin, it wont over dry.

maybe I'm paranoid but lately my right arm (my dominant arm) has been hurting. Right where the shoulder and arm meet, on top of the arm, not the arm pit, it's been aching. It has these really intense pains randomly while I'm just sitting and doing nothing. It started today. It happens with about 3 or 4 pains each lasting 2-5 seconds, and then it stops for a while.
The pains enough to make me gasp and wince.
my mom says it could be from my backpack. I always have the strap on my left shoulder, but to support the weight I have to hold my right shoulder a certain way. I have a 'messenger bag' style backpack, so it's not like I'm being lazy and not putting the strap on like I should, the thing only has one strap in the first place
I know it's nothing serious at the moment, but any idea if it will GET serious if I don't change something? What could it be? (link)

Well it can be from a bunch of things, it could be from sleeping on your right side (putting too much pressure on your shoulder when your asleep) (that happens to my ears)
it could also be from the weight of your messenger bag because all those books and your lunch and whatever else you have in there to get you through the day really adds up and can do alot of damage to your shoulders and back.

So, my best friend and I are in the middle of a prank war. Nothing too mean, just harmless, funny, slightly annoying stuff. Today she went onto facebook and clicked the "like" button on EVERYTHING in my profile, pictures, news feed, etc., so when I signed in I had over 100 notifications and a text from her saying "You're going to hate me, rofl. love yooooou." It was really funny, but now I'm ready to get her back.
