Hey, for my sweet 16, i want to have a blacklight party. i feel like that would be an awesome theme, but im not having it until september haha. i booked it already at a nightclub...it looks like this ( sorry if the pictures dont work!)

so thats where it is, and thats the theme. i want it to kinda be formal...would that be possible with the theme? and for the invitations, i wanted to do something like black with neon boarders and writing. would that be cool? and what kind of dress would i get? where could i get it? links and opinions are great. thanks!

About the cards, you could totally use black construction paper and milky pens or silver Sharpies (which look great) to make the invitations look like neon signs. Cute idea. I'm guessing you're going to have glow sticks and other flashing necklaces/toys as party favors. You could get glow-in-the-dark anything like glitter or nailpolish. Also, I think wearing white shows up a lot under those kinds of lights. You could be glowing in a white dress. wow! thats a really nice place to have a sweet 16 :). looks like itll be tons of fun.
that sounds like a sick theme, ive never heard of something like that. its really original. i'm not sure how it can work, but i know stores like hot topic or spencers sell blacklight lightbulbs.
talk to the place where your having the sweet 16, they can guide you to what you need.
as for a dress, maybe tell everyone to wear black. and you wear white. becuase white shows up the most in a blacklight. and black, just stays black..right?
