No toenails

Question Posted Tuesday June 10 2008, 9:56 am

Okay i got my toenails removed due to ingrown toenails. It kept occuring so the doctor's removed them completely. This is only on my two big toes. My highschool prom is on thursday and i want to wear toeless shoes but am too scared to show off my toes. Is there anything anyone knows of that i can buy, i know you can get fake toenails but they are all put on by glue and are for nail to nail contact it says nothing about skin.

any ideas?

I'd start by calling your nearest nail salon & schedule an appointment to see what
they can do.
If nothing, I'd go to walgreens or walmart, & Purchase some fake toe nails & glue
them out.

Hope I helped.

Hey, my name is Faith42 and I hope I can help!

How about wearing panty hose , then you can still
show your toes. I bet hardly any one will notice.
Plus, hardly any one will look at your toes .

I hope I helped,
Faith4:)

It sounds like you should be able to use fake nails and just glue it to your toe. You could also use something like Scotch double-stick tape if the glue doesn't work. Or, depending on how your toes look, you could even just paint the skin.

my best advice,
if ur dress is long, no one will even see your toes.
if its short, paint them anyways, you cant tell the difference, or put nails on.
it wont bother it.

even though they say nail to nail, you can still put them on your skin it wont do anything. and also you can just paint right on yoour skin with the nailpolish and it wont look any different then a normal toe, unless someone like uses a magnifying glass to look at them. lol. i hope i helped and i hope you have a great prom!
