I agree with the person who wrote before me. It isn't pathetic to come here at all for advice. There are some really smart people who are very happy to help you with whatever you need.

I added your screen name to my buddy list so I can wait for you to be online. However, could you send me a message in my inbox (or in feedback, if you give it) about the general subject? I would like to help you, but I would like to know the general subject area to see if it is anything I know about.

Good luck!

You shouldn't feel that coming for advice on Advicenators is pathetic because it isn't low at all. People come here for all sorts of advice because they know they can get multiple opinions and ideas that may be just what they were seeking. Yes, there may be an over-abundance of sexual related questions but it doesn't meant that other questions, which may be like yours, are inappropriate or unworthy. Advicenators are here to help you out as best we can. A lot of columnists try very, very hard when giving input and doing research for questions that are probably very similar to yours.

I'd really appreciate it if you posted your question so we can all have a chance to ask. I do not have an AOL instant messenger and have no need for it, but I would really love to have the chance to help you to the best of my ability. I'm sure a lot of Advicenators feel the same in wanting to help you.

You are completely anonymous here on Advicenators. We can't see your username or column so you're safe from us finding out who you really are unless you tell us in your question, which I believe is against the rules even. Even paid account users cannot see your columnist name--that's how much privacy you have.

In addition, it's alright to post long questions. It's good to give as much detail as you can so we can understand what has happened and what you're seeking assistance with. Personally, I enjoy it when people add in as many details as they can about a major issue they are having so I can see it from their perspective.

Please give us the chance to help you and take some time to post your situation. I'm not the only one that feels this way, I'm sure.
