Talk to one of her parents about it! She might get mad at you but you seriously need to help her. She could get into a really bad condition. Talk to her about it also.

You DO need serious help for her!!! She can end up dying! But I am sure you know that already. First, you need to talk to her. This is the best thing to do for her. Reassure her that she is beautiful and doesn't need to do that. If she wants to lose weight, exercise and eat right together. Do whatever you can to get her to eat again. If she STILL isn't eating, it is time to tell her parents. She can go to therapy, or go to a hospital. Your friend will be a little mad at first, but you are a good friend to do that for her. Later on in life when she is healthy and happy, she will thank you.

Hey that's serious girl. You should definitely not handle this yourself, you must inform her parents which i have no idea how they have not already noticed that she doesn't eat, and then a doctor must immediately and definitely be involved.
And your role here, is to simply talk with her, and try to know what her reason is behind such action, cause maybe she's depressed or something, that could affect her, so maybe something's wrong or maybe she has some ideas in her mind like wanting to lose weight or low self esteem (is she overweight?). So talk it over with her and see what's going on in her mind and hopefully maybe its something minor and there's some small problem that could be easily sorted out.
Anyways, those are the options, but you must definitely take an action and fast. Goodluck with that, and you can contact me, if you need any further help there.
oh and another thing, while your sorting this out, maybe you could try and make her eat something by maybe seeing that she drinks less of water and liquids to have her open up her appetite a bit for food and maybe you could see what's her favourite food or what she likes best, and you could see if it could drive her hungry enough to eat, and maybe also some candy or toffee or just small food with sugar you know.

I completely agree. This needs to be handled by experts. I am not even sure how a person that has eaten nothing/ little in 16 days should be fed... A doctor should definitely be involved. Don't try to handle this yourself, your friend has some serious health/ psychological issues which you will not be able to cope with.

So do tell a responsible adult. A parent would be my first choice, but any of the other options listed in the answer below would do as well.

Good luck.

The unfortunate thing about a friend suffering from anorexia is that you are almost powerless to help her. There's nothing that you can say or do that can make her eat again.

The only thing you can do, and I would do this right away if you want to save her life, is to tell a responsible adult such as a teacher, counselor, or parent about what is going on. If she doesn't eat soon she will die.
