im really good at talking to guys.
soooo all you gotta do is be like "so babe how was your day" and then hell be like good or something. if hes not the kinda person who woudl be like "it was good football practice was tough" or something like that right, thennn youd say "what did you do today," because yeah, same question, worded differently.
then you can ask what he did this weekend. if he says not much then you say "you shouldve called me!" or you can say "lets hang out next weekend ill make sure youll have more fun." all that kinda stuff.
im not sure if your like the flirty kinda person with him, or if your just friends, but you should deffinantlyyy try to get it to be flirty. like if he asks how was your day, you can be like "not so great cuz i didnt get to see youu." unless hes not into this, dont do it because then he'll get creeped out.
stop tensing up mann thats wierdd :)
if you ever need more help with "joeee" or talking to guys, come to mee! also, keep me updated with how it goes down with you twoo

high five! i do that too!
anyway, you should calm down and breathe. IN... OUT...IN...OUT...
What i try to do is treat him like one of my best friends. Ask him casual questions and answer to typical questions too. When i try to do this, I'm still tense but i hope this works for you better than it works for me.

Okay first of all, Calm Down!

This guy can't see you when you talk to him and if you say something that makes the conversation awkward you can avoid seeing him quite easily, unless hes a friend of a friend or something.

Choose common conversation starters like, "how was your day?" "What did you do today?". You could even ask questions like "have you seen [common movie title here]?". starting with very general conversation, you can pick up on things and branch out. For example, "what did you do today?" "I saw a movie with my friends" "What movie?" "The lion king" "really? I want to see that. is it any good?" or talk about his friends "Cool, are you still friends with [insert a guy you think is his friend]?"

Find common interests like music, school subjects or talk about mutual friends and then branch out from there. Dont worry so much about what you'll say, just say whatever feels most comfortable and right.

Hope you have a nice long conversation with "Joe" =]
