Connection between darkness and tiredness Why do you get tired when its dark? Is there a connection?

also, there's association, or whats called classical conditioning.
for the most part, people sleep at night when its dark and always have all their life. crawling into bed in a nice dark room every night to go to sleep is basically a habit that you get used to doing. you associate the dark with relaxation and sleeping, which can make you tired. ]
It's called serotonin. ]
