Urgent Question: upper limb neuropraxia Unfortunately, i found that i was suffered from upper limb neuropraxia. Due to the accidental attack of a person to my left shoulder: weakness, pain and diminished sensation are found on my elbow and upper arm (upper limb).
1. May i know the detail and vaiation about the injury and how it will affect me in my future life?
2. Do i need to take an operation to repair the nerve?
3. How long do i take to recover?
4. And an Electromyography (EMG) was taken few days ago. i would like to ask also about the effectiveness of the test evaluating the physiologic properties of muscles. Any factor(s) affect the effectiveness / efficiency of the test? Since i doubt about it.
Thank you so much for your help!!!

Your best bet would be to talk to your doctor. They'll know what's best, not anyone on this site.
