My bf and I just had sex for the first time a few days ago. I have not had my period for a couple of months now. Thinking its because i am slightly over weight. If we messed up on the protection some how without knowing, can i get pregnant?
Bunnunnah answered Wednesday May 14 2008, 3:50 pm: There is always a slight chance you can get pregnant when you have sex, even with protection. If you don't get your period by the time you should this month (if it has already passes then next month) take a pregnancy test. [ Bunnunnah's advice column | Ask Bunnunnah A Question ]
AskKay23 answered Wednesday May 14 2008, 2:38 pm: A girl can become pregnant any time a penis is inside, or even near a vagina.
But, given your recent menstrual issue, it should be seen by a local doctor on what could be causing you to have months of no period. That's not normal.
A girl needs to have her period because it's your bodies way of cleansing out the system. A few things can change the way a period flows such as change in diet, excercise, and stress.
Have this checked out, not only will it help solve the no-period mystery, it'll calm your nerves about the aftermath of sex.
