What to do about compliments 17/m
I get complimented on my eyes pretty often, and I just want to know what to say to the complimenter when this happens. I feel like a jackass just saying thank you.
Any advice is appreciated.

Hah, welcome to the club. Do you also get it from totally random people? I once had one from the photographer from school when I was in grade ten.
I've found that the best thing to say is "Thanks!" and smile genuinely. If possible, like all these other people say, return a compliment. Sometimes, making conversation about it can help. I know that I have said "Thanks, I never really know what to say when people tell me that, though". ]
If I complimented someone a smile and thank you in return would be fine to me so don't worry about it :) ]
:D we are on the same boat :) i say thanks and yeah thats it. then i think about it and think should i say something else? but i guess like everyone else says just smile and say thanks and compliment them on something you like that they might be wearing or like a good feature they have. i think maybe they say that bc u probably do have nice eyes and because they want to start like a conversation with you like even if its just you saying that you like their shirt :) so try to compliment them back im going to do the same :) ]
Comment back, say something like 'Yours too'
Or 'Really? THanks'
haha ]
you could try complimenting them back or something, if you dont like saying thank you ]
