I get complimented on my eyes pretty often, and I just want to know what to say to the complimenter when this happens. I feel like a jackass just saying thank you.
I've found that the best thing to say is "Thanks!" and smile genuinely. If possible, like all these other people say, return a compliment. Sometimes, making conversation about it can help. I know that I have said "Thanks, I never really know what to say when people tell me that, though". [ Neener's advice column | Ask Neener A Question ]
