okay so i hang out with alot of my friends and whenver i go out with them and we meet guys the guys always like one of them, but its never me. i get alot of compliments from people saying im pretty and i honestly think im pretty, not drop dead gorgeous, but pretty. why isn't anyone interested in me? its just so boring because i wanna be the "hard to get" one but my friends are all over the guys and flirty and stuff, thats not how i am but i still want guys to be interested in me , what do do? :(

Anyway~ I had this problem and I didn't know what to do. So I started talking to my friends about it and they gave me some tips. Start flirting with guys even when you dont like them [for practice, DUH!] On text message do the wink face ( ;-) ) and more. It turns them on LOL! Talk alot!!

So for a dance i did my hair in curls and i really liked it but it took like an hour with a curling iron. I have long brown hair. It is straight but wavy in a few spots. I was wondering how i could get long loose curls in my hair, but like not scrunching it, or taking hours with a curling iron, bc i dont have a curling iron and i hate lots of hairspray. thanks!
You could get a hair crimper or sleep in braids/french braids... IDK i would just curl them and use hairspray afew hours before

ok, ok i just started my period. i've been using tampons because they are alot more comferatable.
anyways, when i take my tampon out there like brown stuff on it, and blood. what the heck?!?! anything will help.
Thats suppose to be there. When the blood comes out the tampon absorbs the blood/discharge thats what they are made for.

ok i know this may sound weird but whatever i need help.
ok so about a week ago me and my mom were outside on the patio talking. (she makes me call her by her first name) so i said Sunshineheart (yes thats her name) you couldnt be a vegiterian. and she goes your right but i could be a chickenterian. and i was like huh? now me and my mom are very normal and open to each other but i didnt understand. dude i was so nervous about asking her what a chickenterian was! you have no idea how nervous i was! like i was sweating and almost in tears!
so what do i do?

Okay so my friends house burned down this morning. I'm still in shock. I really want to help her through this. She lost everything, except the clothes she's wearing and her cell phone. Now I know this should be common sense, but I need your help. I need to help her out and help her through this. I just dont know how to go about doing so. I'm going to ask her if she wants to spend the weekend at my house or if she wants to hangout. Also she's a huge Jonas Brothers fan so i'm giving her a bunch of mine. I'm just wondering what else I could do. Like obviously i'm going to be there for her if she needs to talk and all but what can I do and how do I go about doing it? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Maybe you can take her family in.. Or find apartments/shelters for their family while they are in rehab.. Maybe treat her to a nice dinner or let her borrow/keep some of your clothes. When her bday or a holiday roles around buy her an extra special gift..

all my life i've never been treated the same as my brother. but this summer, my brother was supposed to go on a school trip this summer. But he didnt pull his grades up, continued to smoke pot, skip school etc, so he was told that he couldnt go. well come to find out that. the plane ticket was non refundable. but it is transferable. so now my dad is giving my brother a trip to my sisters for a week. Now here i am, getting yelled at for every little thing, dont smoke pot, decent grades, dont skip school, pay for everything myself, etc. and what do i get? nothing. not even a good job. and when i say something, my dad just says well i couldnt do anything about that, or w/e. and that he doesnt care. y cant i have a trip to go see my sister?
my dad is never fair to me.
Okay this is gonna be very confusing but its the truth. I know people who have gone through it.
Your dad knows that your brother is being a "Bad Kid" and might want to do something bad, or leave the family, etc. So he feels like he has to do extra things for him to show that he loves him.

So people understand, I'm 17 and my brother is 15. This past Sunday I was in my room getting ready to take a shower. I heard a noise from my brother's closet (his closet shares a wall with my room) but figured my brother was just doing something there, and went about my business. After my shower I came back to my room and started getting ready for bed. As I was putting on my underwear I heard a noise again in my brother's closet like a moan. I don't know why, but I felt wierd. After I put on my pj's I looked at the wall and saw a small hole about seven feet up the wall. On Monday afternnon I went into my brother's closet and saw the hole. My brother can see almost my entire room. It was him I heard spyong on me on Sunday.
I come from a very religious Jewish family. My brother was always very religious. He even has private Jewish studies teachers to learn more than he gets in school. I can't believe he would do such a thing. When I think about how he's seen me undressed and doing very private things, things no one knows I've done, I get sick to my stomach. I don't know what to do. Sould I talk my parents, should I confront my brother? My parents probably won't believe he ever spied on me because he's such a good kid and I don't want to have that kind of discussion with my brother about what he did and saw. I can't talk to teacher or friends about this because I might have to admit to doing those private things. But I feel like i'm going to explode

Okay, so I posted a question about my ex yesterday (May 21, 2008). That was very interesting, if you want to answer it, go right ahead. And just to add on to my previous question... I never had sex with my ex.
ANYWAYS, so my story now is...
So I know that my ex's mom did do the shit she did... all the clues just added up to her. Anyways, so now the other day I asked my friends Kelly and Josh (they are dating and good friends of ex and his family) if they told anything to him AND/OR his mom. Well basically, my friend Kelly kept studdering and Josh is just an ass. Well, I found out that they told her EVERYTHING. Well Kelly and I have been friends ever since we were about 6 years old... so my question is... WHY IN THE HELL WOULD SHE BACKSTAB ME? Is she too far up Josh's ass to even think or trying to help my ex and his mom be psycho?
So then last night Kelly sent me a message on Myspace saying "Aren't I one of your friends anymore on Myspace?" Well I sent her back a message basically saying that I can't trust anyone and I don't want to keep getting stalked by my psycho of an ex and his mother... and then I guess she never got it. So now I'm at school in fourth period and I'm going to confront her about this next period (5th) and ask her why in hell would she lie to face?? I thought I had friends, but now I can't trust anyone anymore and I can't wait until School's over (June 3rd is our last day) and to get over this fucking drama thats stupid and childish... I don't start the drama (besides breaking up with the ex)... I just end it.
So give me any advice you've got because this is pretty ridiculous that some of my good friends have turned on me... to make me look like the bad guy... Which I'm not... I did absolutely NOTHING wrong besides break up with my freaking ex.

Tomorrow is my high school graduation ceremony. The thing is, I'm very uncomfortable and nervous in front of a big group of people. We practiced walking across the stage today, and I was so incredibly nervous and fidgety with all the other seniors watching me. I don't know if I'll be able to go through with it when everyone's attention is on me tomorrow.
If this helps, this is how the ceremony works. They will call my name, I'll walk across the stage, shake hands with the principal and receive my diploma, walk a little more, stop for a picture, and walk back to my seat.
What advice do you have for me?
relax a bit. This is gonna be your big day. A good acting tecnique is to picture the audience in your underwear. It's funny and it will calm you down. Have a friends thats younger then you or a family member sit close to the front and just focus your eyes on them, and pretend no one else is there. Also, pretend you are just walking across your deck and no one is watching you.

It could be because either 1. Your starting your period or 2. Your hormones are getting ready for your period. You may be suffering from "bipolar" But sometimes its just a mood swing change. Tell your friends and familys sorry in advance if you get mood swings. i'm sure there is medicine for this.. I know when your on your period teens use midol and it works well. P.S. A therapist could be helpful too

I'm sorry this is so long.
When I was 12 or 13 this guy in my grade had a crush on me. I was not into it, and at at that age I wanted nothing to do with anyone like Billy. Billy was really sexually active, even at that age, and I wanted to distance myself from that. One day in school he came up to me and put his hand far up my thigh and I pushed him away and he replied with "What, are you a lesbian or something?" in a joking manner. I said "no" but as a way to get attention from me he started this joke that I was a lesbian. At first it was a joke and I really didn't know how to handle it as a 12 year old. I sort of laughed it off. Some guys caught on about the joke and four years later, they still call me a lesbian and dyke and joke around. I have explained CLEARLY that it upsets me and I asked them to stop it because it's tired, and old, and not funny. They still think it's hilarious. They'll say HEY LESBO, LESBIAN!
I have a lot of friends and am well liked, but it's really hurting my self esteem. In two of my classes, everyone has a picture on a computer database which we go on. One of my friends said they were flipping through the pictures on the disk of one computers and all over my picture someone wrote DYKE and drew horrible things on my face. I can't wrap my head around it! I've done nothing to these kids, and I'm sure it was one of them. I came home a bawled my eyes out. My feelings are really hurt, and it's harassment now. I cried one time last year because of it during school, but they still call me "lesbo, dyke, lesbian" and laugh as if it's the most clever thing in the world. Half the guys that say things to me now don't even know or care how this all got started in the first place. It's cruel. I don't want to go to the guidance counselor or anything. I've tried to ignore it lately, but things have gotten worse. Help

To make your friend's laugh just shout back at them "STRAIGHT! NORMAL! IMMATURE!" I'm not sure if that will get to them but whatever. Rumors happen, and hey, we can help it. Just tell them to shutup and maybe try to get a boyfriend to prove to them your not lesbian. Just so you know, they are just being inconsiderate and have no idea what they are saying. Just think, in about 10 years they might become gay and you could just laugh right back at them!
