Ok I'm 13 so this is pretty typical... There's this guy named Josh. I like him a lot, but he's dating my best friend, Angela. Today he just told me that he likes me but he just realized this. Angela is getting tired of him and I only know this because she told me. Josh really understands me, and I feel like I can really open up to him which makes this even tougher! I don't want Angela to be mad, but I really want to be with Josh! What do I do???

First off, you talk to Angela, tell her how you feel about Josh and since she is getting tired of him she shouldn't care BUT if she does care then you have to go to Josh and tell him that although you like him, he probably won't be there forever and Angela (your best friend) will be!!!
Remember Plenty more fish in the sea... and Boys are for whenever girls are for forever ;-)

First ask her what she thinks about you going out with him. If she gets mad, then don't even consider going out with him because a true friend is more important than a boyfriend. If she says it is alright, wait a couple days before you go out with him because she might just be saying that and not mean it so ask her at least twice what she thinks about it. Hope i helped!

Ask Angela whether it's okay for you to date him. Don't ask though until they break up and wait for a respectable period of time before dating him, if you do begin to date him just after they break up, then Angela may feel upset and may get angry...actually, she probably will unless you speak to her before hand and see where she stands on this.

YOU MUST TALK TO ANGELA BEFORE HAND, OTHERWISE SOMETHING UGLY COULD HAPPEN.
You know you love Josh and Josh loves you, but the decision really does rest upon Angela being okay with the two of you going out together.

Angela is your bestfriend. you should know that if you go with josh this is kinda betrayal. josh should know that he might can come in between what you all have and that he should stand down. i know what its like to like your bf boyfriend and have him like you back but you cant go with him. there will be other guys down the line. plus why would you want a guy who likes two friends. who is to say he might end up liking another one of your friends. you have to think about what will happen if you date him. your friend might get mad and think you were not a true friend in thew first place. just think this through and i hope you make the right choice. your friend of her soon to be x josh.
