I'm having my one year anniversary too! On May 28th. I know he's planning on taking me out to a nice dinner at my favorite restaurant, and then we are going to get promise rings for each other. I thought this was a cute idea. But just think of what he likes and what he would want to do. You dont have to go out and spend all your money, it's the thought that counts. Maybe since you've been together for 365 days you could right down 365 reasons why you love him. Anything thoughtful he'll love. (:

Did you see the movie Juno? Her boyfriend loved orange tic-tacs so she filled his mailbox full of them. You could do something like that.
Or get a huge clear glass jar and fill it with his favorite candy and put a rose in the middle.
Or if he likes a certain team, get him a jersey or picture or something of that team.
Or you could do something cute and weird like get a teddy bear and make it a birth certificate haha.
Or make a scrapbook of pictures of ya'll, if you have enough.

Well, if I was you, I would make sure that he was getting me something first. (don't ask him directly. Ask one of his friends if he has said anything about getting you a present) If he is not getting you a present, then don't bother. You can write him a poem or a nice letter or go out on a date or something, but don't get him a present. He will think either you are trying to hard to be nice, or he will feel awkward because he didn't get you a gift. But, if he is getting you a gift, then you should get him one too, no duh. Get him something that matches his interests and something romantic too since you are his girlfriend. (if you are a guy then boyfriend) I would get him a card and a stuffed animal and maybe like a guy bracelet or his favorite magazine and possibly some candy if he likes that kind of thing. You could rent him a movie and give him candy so he will invite you over to watch the movie and eat the candy with him.
I hope I helped

there are many things to do. My cousin once wrote down one reason she loved her boyfriend for everday they were together.
If you have and inside joke like a little thing that no one would understand like a certain candy that shares significance give him 365 of it...my bf gave be a bag full of kisses and said on a card something like "Here are your thousand sweet kisses" because I like the movie rent in which a song is called that.
In order to make it extra sweet just do somthing that only you two will understand or something that you and him both find significant!
Good luck!
