weight loss -- little time

Question Posted Wednesday April 16 2008, 9:27 pm

I am sixteen years old, 5'7 and I weight 185 lbs. I know that I am overweight and need to change my ways some to change that. I am so busy with school and clubs. I gave up all my sports (I used to be in track, basketball, and volleyball) to be in clubs and am currently so busy with 8 clubs that I usually don't have any time for exercise or eating right. I usually eat whatever I can whip up quick and the only exercise I usually get is between classes. Are there any fast, easy exercises I can do with very little time. Also, what are some fast snacks/meals to make with little time as well? thank you =]

Some of my favorite snacks are

-Celery with peanut butter
-apples with peanut butter
-low-calorie snacks (like the 100 calorie packs, or quaker rice cakes)
-nuts (they are high in protein)

these are snacks you can buy, then just put into a bag or grab on your way out the door.

Doing about 10-20 sit ups before bed or when you wake up in a morning can help, doing 20-30 minutes of a workout video can make a difference.
You need a routine, then you get used to exercising and making it a usual thing.

Read the article on the website below, it gives some good exercises like skipping.

And the website below has some good ideas like making extra so you can eat the rest of a meal the next day

Hope this helps
