i'm kinda fair skinned. i don't burn too bad. but i always burn bad in the beginning of the summer so i'll be really red. i hate it and i was wondering if there is any product i can use to tan instead of sunburn, or turn my sunburn into a tan?
laltmeyer answered Tuesday April 15 2008, 9:11 pm: o gosh i know what you mean. I have the same problem.
This summer, i'm actually going tanning in a tanning bed before its warm enough to go outside every day. That way i can control my tan so that i get one without burning. That way, i'll be darker for summer activities so that i dont' burn as easily. I don't know if this is an option for you or not, but i figured i would put it out there
volleyballgamer answered Tuesday April 15 2008, 8:35 pm: I'm the exact same way! Okay well what I always do when I lay out in the sun is like a plan thing okay here it is haha:
-Lay out in the sun 5 minuets on front 5 minuets on back (or 10 minuets each if you dont burn to bad)
-Put on SPF 30 sun screen and lay out for about an hour or 2
- Get something called "Neutrogena Summer Glow Daily Moisturizer" It smells really good, its good for your skin, AND it makes you tan :]
put that on after tanning. It totally works.
It can before Fair tones, Medium tones and dark skin tones. So chose Fair first, and then medium.
Hope it works! :] Oh and, tanning beds can make you ORANGE, so I wouldn't do that. [ volleyballgamer's advice column | Ask volleyballgamer A Question ]
