pets

Question Posted Saturday July 5 2008, 8:25 pm

I've been thinking about getting a pet — something extremely low maintenance. Already dead would be ideal. Where should I look?

low maintenance.. a fish, all you have to do is sprinkle some food in the bowl once a day, and if you have a filter then you really really can wait a while before you need to clean it.

with hamsters you only need to feed them about once or twice a week. and you don't need to change the cage very often, until it looks/smells really badly or until grass starts growing in there. (hamster food consists of seeds) but for them you really do need to play with them often so they become friendly.

hope that helps.

If its already dead you're looking for,
how about a nice stuffed animal. :)

hmm i think either a fish, bird,or cat for you would be ideal. For fish, all you have to do is clean the fish tank when it gets dirty, and give it like 2 or 3 flakes of fish food a day and that's it.For a bird, you would have to clean it's cage when it gets really dirty, and just put in a few toys or treats in it's cage to keep it preoccupied, and of course feed it also.As for a cat, their really dependent on themselves they clean themselves, their pretty lazy animals. All they would need you to do is have a litterbox for them to go to the bathroom in and just feed them.If those animals seemed like too much of a hassle for you,i heard pet rocks were pretty easy to take care of ;) lol

Fist are extremely low-maintenance. All you have to do is drop food in their tank once a day and maybe clean out their tank once a week. But you can easily buy a filter that can do the job for you.

You can buy fish at Meijer or at your local pet store ;]
