I'll be going for a pool party tomorrow and I really wanted to swim but my periods came unexpectedly today. So I was asking, is it okay to swim while on your periods?
ellegirl606 answered Thursday March 20 2008, 12:59 pm: You can swim while you're on your period, but you should wear a tampon (if you're comfortable with it). Make sure you change it right when you get out so there isn't any chlorine left that can irritate your skin.
Also, your period doesn't just LEAK OUT when you're in the water. If you've ever taken a bath while on your period, it's not like the water turns completely red or anything.
