Periods I'll be going for a pool party tomorrow and I really wanted to swim but my periods came unexpectedly today. So I was asking, is it okay to swim while on your periods?

The bleeding stops when you hit the water. like when you shower theres no blood. or when you take baths you dont bleed neither. but as soon as you get out of the water make sure you put on a pad or something because once your body notices your out of the water. the blood your body was holding back will all come out. and if your a heavy bleeder. that would probably be ALOT. which would be really emberassing to walk around with blood on your bathing suit.
take my advice=] ]
You can swim while you're on your period, but you should wear a tampon (if you're comfortable with it). Make sure you change it right when you get out so there isn't any chlorine left that can irritate your skin.
Also, your period doesn't just LEAK OUT when you're in the water. If you've ever taken a bath while on your period, it's not like the water turns completely red or anything.
Anyways, just wear a tampon and you'll be fine!! ]
i used to be so scared to swim on my period , but one week we went to disney world and i was on mine . i never used a tampon before until then but i had to start using them so i could get in the water . so as long as you wear i tampon in the pool - you will be ok ! ]
