gross lips

Question Posted Sunday March 16 2008, 6:43 pm

I wear lip gloss but i don't over-wear it or anything. But at the end of the day when i'm looking at the mirror, I'll realize that there's white stuff on my lips (and it isn't dry skin). There's just a thin line of it on my inner lip and it's really annoying. How can I get that to not happen when i wear lip gloss?

If your talking about that weird thin line of white almost slimy stuff, Its most likely your toothpaste actually. After you mouthwash, floss or brush, rinse your mouth a bit more than u usually do, especially on the inside. This white thing happens to pretty much everybody, sometimes even if you dont use lipgloss. Its because there is still a bit of toothpaste residue inside your mouth, and it comes out in a tiny film

Everyone gets that, its just the lip gloss drying.

All you've got to do is take off the lip gloss every so often, like hour or so and re-apply.

Hope I Helped !

* It's not dead skin, and there's nothing to worry about.

Lip sticks don't do that though, just a suggestion.

yeah that happens to me too sometimes. like. i think its like dead skin. i suggest like using like a scrub ment for your lips to get all the dead skin off.

like umm there some product by i think its mary kay and its like a lip mask and you leave it on for like two minutes and its get all the dead skin off.

& then also (i read this in a mag) you mix like.. brown sugar and olive oil (i forget how much of each tho) & scrub you lips with it & it removes like all the dead skin. check on seventeen.com they probably have it on there.

I dont really think that there is anything you cand do. That's probobly just the lipgloss drying and becoming hard. Maybe if you put just regular lip balm UNDER your lipgloss, that could help it.

Hope I helped.
