Si filled out about 5 applications and no where has called me. I REALLY need a job. I'm going to Florida in June with my friend, and I told my mom I would pay for it. My friends step mom works with the air port, so we will get a little discount on our tickets, but I still need about 400$. My questions are how do places choose who they hire? And what ideas for a job do you have? I'v put it in at food places and stores. I really need a job =[

Most food places hire young staff, so its always good to ask to talk to the manager about a job instead of shyly getting an application, because they are still pretty busy and might not look at it. Anyways good luck getting the money I hope I helped :) .
P.S. If you know how to ski or snowboard I know alot of places that hire students who ski or snowboard reguarly just to help out or keep an eye on the terain parks and such.

You can take a couple of CPR classes or even babysitting classes for free in a town center, and it will make you really qualified. You can ask around the neighborhood and put up flyers to babysit. You can make a lot of money babysitting if you just work a lot and make the parents happy. Places choose who they hire based on references, and experience. You can make $400 by babysitting by June is you start soon. If you have any friends or family with jobs that suit you, ASK them! It's all about networking and experience. Someone you know will definitely help out, and then you have experience to get more jobs. Good luck! [ footballchick2's advice column | Ask footballchick2 A Question ]
