You lose your virginity when you have sex. Tampons are not sex. Tampons are okay. You are a virgin.

When virgins use tampons it can break the
hymen. In some cultures it is important
that it be there when a girl gets married
or she is not considered a virgin by her
husband. Even if she is. This is still a
big deal in some parts of the world, but
not here.

So using a tampon does not mean you are
no longer a virgin. It just means your hymen
will probably be broken if it hasn't already
been. As has been said before me, modern
women are active in ways they weren't in
times when this was important. It gets
broken by things other than sex. Don't
let it worry you. :)

Yes, you don't lose your virginity until you actually have sex. You can't lose your virginity to a tampon. Also, your hymen can already broken before you've even had sex because of sports. Every woman's is different.

You are still a virgin. When a tampon is inserted it does not break the hymen, which is what happens when you have sex for the first time. You'll lose your virginity when you have sex for the first time.
