I read a book from one of the alice series but it talked about how one of the girls didnt want to wear a tampon because they were saving their virginity fo when their older are you considered that you are not a virgin if you wear a tampon because im 13 and wear tampons for sports
karenR answered Saturday March 15 2008, 12:48 pm: When virgins use tampons it can break the
hymen. In some cultures it is important
that it be there when a girl gets married
or she is not considered a virgin by her
husband. Even if she is. This is still a
big deal in some parts of the world, but
not here.
So using a tampon does not mean you are
no longer a virgin. It just means your hymen
will probably be broken if it hasn't already
been. As has been said before me, modern
women are active in ways they weren't in
times when this was important. It gets
broken by things other than sex. Don't
let it worry you. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

Also, your hymen can already broken before you've even had sex because of sports. Every woman's is different. [ ellegirl606's advice column | Ask ellegirl606 A Question ]

You'll lose your virginity when you have sex for the first time. [ person43's advice column | Ask person43 A Question ]
