Almost none. It's really hard to get a job when you're that young. You have to be at least 16 to be a seating hostess and 18 to wait tables. You can't even work in fast food.
I knew some girls who took take-out orders and answered phones at a family-owned restaurant, but that was only because it was their family's restaurant.
Your best bet is a grocery store, movie theater, bowling alley, or caddying on a golf course. Don't forget, you have to have a work permit. They also have a lot of restrictions for you:
YOU CAN NOT WORK:
- more than 18 hours a week
- more than 6 days a week
- in dangerous fields
- past either 10 or 11pm
- more than 10 hours in 1 day
You'll have to look hard, some restaurants may hire you (most likely the smaller businesses but definitely not the popular, mainstream restaurants like Applebee's), but good luck!! And ask your friends or anyone else you know who has a job your age.
