okay quickly tell me how to do the following.
it has wifi so it picks up connections.
it also has firewall.

- put on mozilla
(i downloaded it but it wouldn't connect to the internet, only ie did)

- put on limewire
(that wouldnt download properly so it kept aborting)

- get on msn
(the internet wont go to that either)

- and lower and raise the volume

Sounds like a firewall setting. It doesn't recognize the other programs as "safe" but Internet Exploder err...I mean Explorer is marked as safe.

To set the volume, look at the task bar (where the clock is) do you see a little speaker icon? If you do, adjust the volume there. Otherwise, go to "Start", "Control Panel", "Sounds and Audio Devices" It's the speaker icon. Under the "Volume" tab you can place the icon on the task bar or adjust the volume there.
