I agree mostly with the person below me :-) I would wear your hair similar to hers...in low pig tails...make sure to include the cute head band. Dont be affraid to wear pencil skirts, and roll up sweatpants, and also, wear more layered clothing (clothing with cami's and long shirts.) She also usually wears flip flops or sneakers. Have fun! ]

She usally does simple thinks with colors like yellow blue red and green.

Taylor is a very nerdy type of girl. In the movie, she is portrayed as kind of chic- blazers with flower pins on the lapel, pencil skirts, chunky headbands, flats.
You could also take it the other direction and wear sweaters, Mary Janes, and pencil skirts.
I really loved the movie Taylor's look, but it really depends on how you plan on portraying the character.
Playing the Nerd Tips:
-If you're doing your own makeup, use "smart dots"(small white dots on the inside corners of your eyes) to look smarter offstage. I've really no idea why this works.
-Glasses automatically make you look nerdier. If you don't wear any, simply purchase sunglasses(small one, probably wire frames) and pop the glass part out. If you're not strong enough, ask a techie for help. They are the most awesome people ever.
:)
**EDIT**
A jean skirt sounds perfect, as long as it isn't a mini... that would be pushing things.
For the decathalon, try to find a lab coat. Try asking a chemistry teacher at your school, or looking at a costume shop(ours is called Actor's Attic.) ]
The school is suppose to supply you with the clothes your suppose to wear. Talk to the director of the play. ]
