Belly Button?

Hey sorry I couldn't figure out which category to put this into..

Ok I leave for spring break March 28th, and I really want to get my belly Button peirced. Does anyone know how long I would have to stay out of the water? Pool Ocean, etc?

when friend got hers she said swimming in the pool was ook but not the ocean. i think about 2-3 weeks you should stay out of water.

you can go in the pool after its pierced but you have to cover it with a waterproof bandage.

Anywhere from 6 months to a year is the time in which you should stay away from pools. Oceans, however, you ARE allowed to go into, since salt water is good for the healing process. Just be sure to clean it right after you're done playing in the ocean. Also, some people heal faster than others, so I'd ask the person who pierces your belly button about it too. ^_^ goodluck!
