Extremly mad

Question Posted Wednesday February 27 2008, 12:53 pm

My ex has been saying things about me to a friend that really upset me and he says it was just a joke.
I am so mad to the point where I don't want to see him or talk to him or think about him and i really want to hit something!
What do I do!

It's what exes do best -_-
Just ignore him, as you've said. It's the best thing to do anyway until it all blows over and he is mature enough to not spread crap.
You have every right to be angry, but don't let him know it's getting to you. He's probably secretly loving the fact you care about what he says.
It'll all be okay soon. Just keep above things and tell your friends it's simply not true and not to believe it.

Do exactly what you said, there is no reason to see or speak to him if he's hurt you to that extent. Nobody says those things then say that it was a joke.

Don't let your rage consume you, for you could do something which you might regret later. Take a few deep breaths and calm down. You're through with him, he's only saying those things to see your reaction, you've got nothing to do with him anymore. You can't give him the satisfaction to see you react to what he said.

I hope this helped,

The same thing happened to me last year sweetie. If you dumped him, he's probably just saying it to save his pride (you know how idiotic boys can be sometimes). If he dumped you, then he did you a favor because you don't need a liar like that who uses people.
My advice would be try and ignore what he says, because either way it doesn't matter what he thinks of you. Just let it roll right off your shoulders.
