I am 15 and about 5'2/3 short for my age. I have been trying to loose weight for about 2 years now, but i never ever stick to eat. I always find myself binging when i get home from school. Its like a race between me and my friend, we are the same size. But shes lost so much weight and i really dont no what to do the obvious thing is to stop binging but its sosososo hard i get really hungry. I do exercise quite alot but it justs turns into muscle so i look even bigger. I need to loose weight fast for the summer especially!!

I've healthily cut 15 pounds each year, and kept it off during the entire winter (which was when my diet was over, wrestling season ends =p). What I do to lose weight is simple really, but takes discipline. Instead of eating nothing all day and then eating one big meal at the end, which actually makes you gain a LOT more weight (your body thinks it's starving and it stores the food as fat instead of digesting properly and being burned off), what you should be doing is actually eating FIVE times a day, in smaller portions. It makes your metabolisim kick in more often and burns more calories without even working out! Also, instead of eating junk food or greasy food, I always ate salads and that kind of thing during my sport's season. If salad's taste gets old to you, eat fruit, make smoothies, whatever you need to do to keep yourself from eating bad things. The main thing is that you eat the correct amount, five times a day (or more/less if you choose, the more the better as long as you DON'T over do it) and eat healthy foods. My first comment to you would be DO NOT BINGE. You may think it is helping you but the reality is wearing down your teeth, esophogus, and doing more harm then good. Not to mention it also could become a habit not just for you but also for your mind, and your body. Furthermore purging does not help us keep weight off it just makes up take weight away for a short period of time. Moving on because different people have different body types. Mine 14 short(4'9"), and I weigh 80 pounds. The only reason I do this because the only person I challenge is myself. Maybe you thought it was a good idea to challenge you classmate but you must challenge yourself. Make a goal for yourself, a healthy goal such as 5 pounds in 1-3 months. Then everyday do things such as running, sit ups, push ups, crunches, it really helps. Eat healthy vegetables and foods and stuff i ts okay to eat a treat without binging but you have to figure out what your going to do to work it off.
Hope that helped.
