Also this does wonders for me if you have a sore throat or cold. :
Boil some tea bags
After you boil the tea bags for about 5 min. take a cup for the amt. of tea your going to drink and put GINGER ALE (at grocery store) into it + with lemon. Drink that and you should feel better.
Also, there is some green throat spray for sore throats which you can get at the store and its called: Chloraseptic Throat spray for sore throats. For every few hours you spray 5- spritz.
It soothes your mouth, and makes it feel calm.
So I recommend that you use that.
orphans answered Monday February 25 2008, 3:39 pm: UGH!!! I hateee sore throats. Whenever I have a sore throat, I always drink cold things and eat ice popsickles. Also, this doesn't taste the best, but salt and water SERIOUSLY does the trick. I always give my mom a hard time about it, but take a bunch of salt, mix it with WARM water, and gargle. It always helps me! :-]
I also found some websites that can help you.
Also, there is some spray for the back of your throat that you can buy, it is not perscription needed.
Feel Better!
ps
it may hurt, but you need to eat... I suggest chicken noodle soup, tomatoe soup, etc. (Food stores sell a lot of soups lol that are all really good) For some reasons, I like to stay away from dairy. It just doesnt help me, and ends up making my throat hurt more. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

If so, you have strep and need to get a prescription from a doctor. If you don't then drink some warm lemonade like in the can that you put in the freezer. You can find them in any store like krogers or even walmart. This will help soathe your throat and eating popsickles will help fill your stomach up and feel good on your throat.
