I bought those strips they only get rid of a smalla mount of the stains off. They did get the cofee and tea stains off my teeth but there was still some left. I ended up having to go to the dentist to get them removed.

Whitening strips work by chemical bleaching. They will at least lighten coffee /tea stains. (Depending on how bad the stains are, the whitening strips may or may not be able to completely remove the stains, but the effect should be significant.)

Do remember that it is still important to brush your teeth properly though, because whitening products don't prevent cavities and gum disease.
