they pierce it with a needle. they slide the ring in through the needle. i heard that it doesn't hurt very badly. so i wouldnt worry about that too much. it's over in a few seconds anyways. if you want to get one.. go for it! you don't need to wait as long as it's alright with your parents. i like them a lot and i really want one but my parents won't let me get one! i don't think its trashy or slutty but my parents do. ha. as long as you like it thats all that matters. i'm getting one for sure when i'm 18! you're a lucky gurlll <33

They usually use a 14 or 16 gauge needle to pierce the top of the belly button. Sometimes they even pierce the sides of the belly button or the bottom, depending on where you want it. I personally am not a fan of belly button piercings but some people can pull them off. I can't tell you whether you should wait to get one or not, but I just want to warn you sometimes the piercing can reject or get infected, so just be careful if you're going to get it done! I'm sure it'll look nice on you!

they pierce the top of your belly button with a needle. my friend got it done and she said it didnt hurt very much. it probably hurts less than getting your ears pierced.. if you know what that feels like? you dont have to wait if you dont want to. i dont think its trashy or slutty. im 16 and i really want my bellybutton pierced. but my parents wont let me. ha. as long as your parents give you permission then its fine. if it will give you more confidence then go for it!

they get the skin at the top of your belly button and pierce it.

it's not trashy or slutty in my opinion, as long as you get something simple and don't go all out.

if it will be something to raise your self esteem then i' say go for it(:

it's NOT something slutty to wear a belly button ring (in my opinion)), though i would say at age 14 its a little young to be wearing one. i heard that they do hert at first. but if your really devoted to get one theres no one stopping you. i think personally belly button rings are sexy and iteresting. ive seen girls with them and it brings ur eyes to the belly. make sure you have a good looking stomach though to. lol.
