1.)READ the instructions,that
would help.
2.)The BEST Time to use it for
the first time is after a shower
when your not heavy or bleeding
at all.
3.)Take the TAMPON OUT of the PACK
4.)FIND the hole closest to your
CLITOROUS(the little ball that pee come out).
5.)STICK the TAMPON HALF WAY IN and
PUSH THE PLASTIC PART at the bottom up so that
TISSUE ROLL could go UP and IN.
It's not going to hurt going in but maybe 5-10 minutes later a small pain will come in your lower stomache but it's normal if your a virgin so just take a pain pill and it will go right away a.s.a.p.
P.S. Don't keep it in for over 4 hours change after a certain amount of time or anytime before if need to(it ddepends on your flow). If it's heavy you may still wear a pad or a panty liner just in case of leaking.

I would also recommend playtes gentle glide or anything without the cardboard applicator. [ limeslushie2010's advice column | Ask limeslushie2010 A Question ]
Sima answered Friday February 22 2008, 7:57 pm: Lol, so I loved the lovely set of instructions given previously. I was scared at first, but my mom helped me put one in, so if you're comfortable around your mom [as you should be], ask her to help you out. Maybe even an older sister, cousin, aunt, ect.
1. Get the tampon and unwrap it from the plastic.
2. Lay down on your bed, get comfortable. You can also try putting one foot on top of the toilet, the other firm on the ground.
3. Grip the tampon in your right hand, and spread the flaps at the bottom [your vagina], apart, so that the tampon has easier access.
4. Put the tampon in your vagina, until the little 'ring' at that bit of plastic at the end [that is attached to the string is sticking out just a little.
5. Push the bottom part IN, so that you can feel the fabric going 'inside' of you. [you will most definitely feel it].
6. The plastic case should slip off, and you throw that away.
You're done! I have found that tampons are so much more comfortable compared to pads. Just don't forget to change your tampon ever 4-6 hours to prevent TSS. [Toxic Shock Syndrome]. That might've sounded a little scary, but as long as you keep changing your tampon during that given time, you should be fine.
If you decide to sleep with a tampon overnight, change it IMMEDIATELY as you wake up.

Tampax brand tampons come with illustrated instructions that show you step by step how to use tampons. I assume that other brands also have these instructions. Your doctor can also show you. 1. Take the tampon out
2. Put it in the hole. (Trust me you will know if it is the right hole because it is smack in the middle).
