My Friend

Question Posted Monday February 18 2008, 10:44 pm

13/f

My friend who I was extremely close, we are/were best friends. She says she is my best friend. She doesn't show it. I see her about twice a week at church. Except I went over to her house every weekend. She has gotten bossy and just hits me sometimes when she gets mad. I have talked to her about it and she said she was sorry and she didn't realize what she was doing. She is an only child and spoiled too. She is acting like that again and I have stopped hanging around with her now. We haven't hung out in awhile and I am just confused. So any help would be appreciated thanks!

You have to remember that she's an only child and she's growing up. As she develops into an adult, she will become more and more demanding and will become more and more selfish and in doing so, will expect everybody to what she wants.
I know somebody who is an only child and she is a spoiled brat who wants everybody to do what she wants. I'm not saying that this is what will happen to your friend, but what could happen.
Talk to her about this because you don't this to spoil the friendship. She needs to understand that her selfishness is ruing a very good friendship which could continue on.

I hope this helped,

if you want to be her friend still, then you need to tell her to stop. you should honestly try to ask her mom or her parent to put her in counseling so she will hopefully stop hitting you and treat you that way. you are a human being and deserve to be treated better. thats the way i treated my friend niki at the time... but it wasnt because i was spoiled or anything, it was of personal reasons... but counseling straightened me out a lot. not because i felt like i had to, but because they made me want to stop. good luck :D

i think it is best that you do sepparate yourself from that kind of person because there doing nothing to you but further agravating you.just incase you want to hang with her, what you should do is the second she hits you or makes a bossy comment or command you call her out.be like"thats exactly what im talking about right there".she says she doesnt realize that shes doing it so if you call her out at the exact time she does it she will deffinately see.if she doesnt dont let it agravate you because a person with that type of attitude is honestly not worth your time!!hope this helped and good luck!!!
