It's not "stalkerish"
It just clearly shows you are a caring person and want your close friend to get better (even if you like him/her more than a friend).
Praying for them isn't really giving pity, either.

why would that be bad? that's having a heart. having hope & truly caring about him. praying helps..a miracle could happen dont lose hope! and you shoudlnt hate giving pity..pity is something that shows youre a good person and care about others.

That is not bad.
That is having hope. Praying for cures is all that you can really do right now, but it is showing sympathy.
Ask anyone who is in the same position as you, ask them if they pray for a cure.
My sister and my dad both have diabetes, and I have been praying for the cure for about 8 years.
Never lose hope.

Oh my gosh- no that is not stalkerish at all!

Go you for praying for him- and praying just in general ;]

That totally is not giving pity- it's showing God that you believe in Him and that you are putting it up to him- which is very honorable.

Go you, like I said ;]
