orphans answered Sunday February 10 2008, 7:52 pm: okay, i do this all the time, especially for volleyball where you need muscle on your legs! lay on your floor straight (on your back) then lift both of your legs up off the ground not too much but not too little, about six inches, and just hold it there. Start out at holding them for 30 seconds, and work your way up. You can also do sets of 30 seconds. another thing, is stay in that same position, put both your legs in the air, and move them up and down, and in circles. This will not only work out your legs, but your abs too! :-] which is the best part! You could also do wall sits, where you put your back straight against the wall, and bend down like you are going to sit on a chair (without the chair)and just hold it there.
