queenhearts answered Sunday February 3 2008, 7:18 pm: If you ovulate you can get pregnant. You may not know you can so before you get your period, there's a possibility for pregnancy.
I got my period at 11 and I weighed around 60 pounds. So I don't think it has anything to do with weight. If you haven't gotten it around 16-17 years old, then go check up with your doctor. 14 is the average age to get it. You may be a late bloomer. junebug93 answered Sunday February 3 2008, 7:05 pm: It's possible, but you'd have to have started ovulating before having sex... so if you hadn't had sex, your period would come in a few days. It's very unlikely.
Yes, it's normal to be fourteen and period-less... I got mine sometime when I was fifteen so I wouldn't worry. The one thing that may be causing this is your body weight. I'm not sure how tall you are so I can't judge, but if you are noticeably skinnier than most people you know, I'd get it checked out.
