ok i masturbate like once every 2 days and i was wondering..can i pick up sperm from like anywhere and have it be on my hand and get pregnant. does sperm just like float around on surfaces? i know i'm probably stupid but help!!
1love1life answered Friday February 1 2008, 3:06 pm: Your not stupid. just curious as i was when i was first learning about that kinda stuff. but no i dont think so because sperm doesnt survive on dry surfaces that well so if you wanted to get pregnant then you would have to get a boy and have intercourse with him. Simple as that. [ 1love1life's advice column | Ask 1love1life A Question ]

See, most sperm can't survive in a dry area. That's part of the reason why it's so much less unlikely to get pregnant if a guy ejaculates, say, on your leg. Semen dries up pretty quickly. For you to get pregnant that way, you'd have to dip your fingers in a just-ejaculated pool of semen and masturbate immediately.
And sperm doesn't float around on surfaces anyway. Guys don't go around masturbating on tables, do they? [ andalixsays's advice column | Ask andalixsays A Question ]

Really, if you have it on your hands then yes, there's a SLIGHT chance you could become pregnant. I wouldn't worry about it too much, you'd actually have to have it inside of you, just not on the outside. [ ChevyIINova's advice column | Ask ChevyIINova A Question ]
