ive had quite a bit of sex but for some reason I dont think ive ever gotten off. ive spoken to my sister about it and she says that I would definately know if I had gotten off. why arent I?

Actually, that's quite normal. A lot of women have trouble getting off from intercourse alone. The vast majority need external stimulation in order to experience orgasm. That's why they made things like vibrating cock rings...lol.
It could also be that the guy's not quite giving you what you need/want, but in that case you've gotta figure out what you DO need, and help him figure out how to give it to you.
Do some research on line - find some positions that allow him to do some work with his hands, if y'know what I mean.
