back tuck! i just started private tumbling classes and my coach thinks i will definitely have my back tuck before my back handspring, strangely. she thinks ill get my back tuck in about a month, which is when i need to have both of them by (as good as i can get them). anyways, i JUST started my back tuck, and ive been working on my bhs for awhile, but i guess back tuck comes easier, and my legs are strong enough or something. what are your opinions on this..did any of you have your tuck first? how long did it take you? do you think i will get mine in a month, even before a bhs? everyone is i know, but what do you think? im very determined to get it :] any tips you all have are very appreciated!

i have my back tuck right now. but if you asked me to throw my back handspring i would probably laugh in your face. honestly its just 2 different things. a tuck is jumping UP and a spring is jumping BACK. some people want to just jump up more then back so tucks therefore come easier.
it just depends on the person.

when you tuck NEVER EVER GIVE UP 1/2 WAY THROUGH!!!
i cant stress it enough. dont freak out, you have to finish it. because recenatly i just freaked out and fell straight on my back and neack and head. man did that hurtt.

I think thats kinda weird because most ppl in my class got there back hand spring first and so did I. But there are some cases where you do get your back tuck first very rare though. ]
