What I ended up doing was telling my guy friend, "Look, both of you are my really good friends, so I don't want to get in the middle with you two. I'm really sorry, but I think it's best if you work things out between the two of you."
As for your friend... I think it'd be okay to tell her your opinion (that she ought to break up with him if she doesn't like him anymore)... but just say it once, and then let her do what she's gonna do. [ Jeanne's advice column | Ask Jeanne A Question ]

You must tell her either to break up with him or you will tell him what she is doing.
If your girl-friend does not want to tell him and therefor does not, you must be a good friend and tell your guy-friend what is going on. A good friend never keeps a secret.
Also, you should help your girl-friend, I strictly advise you to guide her to not want to fool around, there are many diseases and unwanted things you can catch from 'fooling around'.'
I hope this helped.
