Actually, running helps everywhere on your body.
Try crunches, and if you do a pushup, if you hold your stomach tight, you get really good abs.
good luck<3

the best exercise i've done is where you lay on the ground on your back. then, keeping your back on the ground, bring your legs up so that they're vertical (but keep them together and toes pointed). then bring them back down to the ground, but try not to let them touch the ground. it's going to really hurt. then bring them back up, back down, so on and so forth. this gave me good results.

for cheerleading we did throw-downs, bicycles, planks, 6-inches.. also you can stand with your legs apart, knees bent almost at about a 60 degree angle keeping your torso still and twist from side to side for about 2 minutes... hope this helps!

-air bike [cris cross and outstretch your legs each time you criscross for each leg but only one leg at a time]

Situps.
-Regular [make someone hold your feet down, or put your feet under your couch or stair case.]
