About two days ago I woke up and my left breast was SIGNIFICANTLY, I mean like, ridiculously, MUCH MUCH larger than my right breast and also quite tender and somewhat painful to the touch. So my mother took me to the doctor and the doctor ran a blood test which proved that I wasn't pregnant and there were no cancerous cells in my blood, which were two of her guesses. Then she told me that it was because of my period, that my hormones were causing this to happen. She said to use a heating pad for pain and take Advil or Neprocin for the inflammation and that it would go away with my next period. The problem is, my periods are very very irregular because I used to have an eating disorder, so who knows when that will be, probably MONTHS from now. This sucks, I can't stand it, seriously, they are EXTREMELY different sizes and it's making me horribly self conscious and resentful of my body, I won't even let my boyfriend see me topless/bra-less because I am so embarrassed about it.
What can I do to make my breast return to normal size quickly? Has anyone else experienced this before? And I mean they're REALLY REALLY different sizes, seriously. I can't stand this, it's making me really really upset...HELP!! This can't possibly be normal!!!

I had a similar problem when I was 14 or 15, and what I did was I bought bra inserts, they're basically gel pad things that you put in your bra. I wore one on one side for a while, then after some time my breasts gradually evened out. It's totally normal for your breasts to grow and become different sizes, try not to freak out, stress probably wont add to the problem. Good luck hun, I hope I helped. ~Love Angel [ Anq3L_xO's advice column | Ask Anq3L_xO A Question ]
