The letter part (a, b, c, etc) is the cup size; the actual size of your breasts. Sooo... a 32D would fit someone who's very slender but has large breats; and a 38a would fit someone who has a larger body but smaller breasts. [ Jeanne's advice column | Ask Jeanne A Question ]
woahhbaby answered Thursday January 17 2008, 9:58 pm: Okay! So let's say you're a C36. C is the cup size [size of boobs:)] and the number is the bust size. The back length.
I can't stand when girls think C36 is a bigger cup than C34.
So when the cup of a bra doesn't fit you, don't get a bigger number, get a bigger letter!
Oh, and if you go to a store like victoria's secret they will gladly measure you! That's their job. And for me they did it over my clothes, so good!
ps. Victoria's Secret is kind of pricy, so get your size and then go to another store like Macy*s for bras!
Amarete answered Thursday January 17 2008, 9:27 pm: The letter is your cup size and the number is your bust size (length around). So if you are an A cup, you have smaller actual boobs than a B cup, but if you are a 36A you are bigger around than a 32B. [ Amarete's advice column | Ask Amarete A Question ]
