I started the pill for the first time on my last period.
I am now up to the placebo tablets (when I should get my period)
I have had 5 and I have 2 more to go and I still haven't gotten my period.
I'm not pregnant.
So what's going on?
AquamarineRose answered Tuesday January 15 2008, 7:56 pm: Is it your first month on the pill? If so, it would not surprise me at all that you are not getting your period right on time. The pill can take a couple of months to regulate with your system, I know it did with mine. Also, did you miss any pills at all during the month? Perhaps you forgot one one day and took two the next(don't worry, I'm just as guilty). If so, that can also throw your period off a few days. You didn't mention if you were sexually active at all, I'm assuming you're not with how you are absolutely positive that you're not pregnant. If you are though, you should definitely get a pregnancy test to be on the safe side. Really though, if you are very concerned, go see or call your gynecologist. She/he has all the answers. She took the pill and it helped a lot, regulating the duration. However, we have our second child even though she was on the pill. You may still want to get a pregnancy test.
