are chinchlas good pets? ♥ ♥ ♥

ok
i was wondering

if there is anyone who owns a chinchila or know anyone that does:

are they good pets?
and if so do you know any websites that i can learn more about them?

yess they soo cutte, i have one, she mix chihuahua with something, sometime chewing a thing, but mostly very cute, sleep with you, and playing with you, very good dog

hi! all of the above sites are really good! and packed with tons of information! (i really think that the last site is the best) i dont know much about chincilas, but i did touch one, they are SOOOOOO soft! and cute...and adorable! if you adopt, have fun with the baby!

They are really cute AND non-allergenic. That's the good part.

On the bad side:
- They're antisocial.
- They're filthy creatures! My housemate had two girl chinchillas, and instead of peeing in their cage, they would stand up against the bars and pee all over the floor.

Pretty much, they're cute and fluffy, but they don't do well around people and they're incredibly messy and high-maintenance.
