ppl tell me im very pretty adn have the look to be a model, i weigh like 120 redhair pale skin dont have many freckles but im only 5'6' im tryin to loose some more weight cauz uve got to be extremely skinny to be a model bu tbefore i go to that extreme, is there even a chance of me makin it, cauz i heard you have to be like at least 5'8' to be a model is that true?

There's many other types of models. For runaway, it's wanted to be 5'8 because the designers make clothes for that height and body type. You still have a chance but you're going to face a lot of rejection. You have to be 5'7 at least, so you can just wear heels or shoes with some platform on it and keep your head up high. Don't appear small and conscious about your height or body. Don't become extremely skinny, just tone your stomach, butt, legs, everything. Some people want some skin or curves on their models, not bony ones. If you're trying to get into an agency.. any sort of extreme dieting will not be liked.
Red hair and pale skin is unique. You just need to practice with expressions and not appearing so "dead" in the eyes in photos. If you really want to do this, you need to start taking photos now. Practice ones. Then go out and get a friend who's experienced with photography or go into a studio and pay for professional like photos. You need to create some sort of portfolio. There's some legit agency sites online where you can send them your photos.

there are more types of modeling then runway and high fashion. there are hand models, catalogue models, advertisement models, even teeth models. I think if you really really really want it more than anything in the world, you can do it. I would have to see a picture of you t say for sure though.

It depends on what kind of model you want to be.
(Just so you know, there are always exceptions. You could make it if you're shorter. It's just harder, that's all.)
IF you want to do high-fashion, runway, 5'8" is like, short. Think about the most famous supermodels. They're so tall it's ridiculous. Do you watch America's Next Top Model(guilty pleasure, haha)? There was one girl a few seasons back who was 5'6" or 7", and they made a big deal about how short she was.
But if you want to do more print, catalog ads(I don't mean this like, ew, catalogue. Just so you know), you can be shorter.
And anyway, if you want it bad enough to lose weight and all that, then you want it enough to go out there an dgive it a shot anyway. See if you can schedule some go-sees, and see what they say about your height. And don't get discouraged if a few agencys say you're too short, try a bunch before you let anything they say affect you.

no height dosnt matter at all expecily if you are only 2 inches away trust me my sister is a model and she is 5'5 and today i was out with my sister shoping and i was offerd a job in modeling and im only 5 feet tall haha good luck i hope i helped
