The first time can be awkward, unless you're pretty comfortable with the guy. I mean, sometimes the moment just comes and it falls completely into place.
And it can be slobbery if he wants to try to conquer your mouth with his tongue.
Fortunately, only a few guys do that, and I have no idea why ('cause I didn't like it all too much) =P
Of course though, kissing isn't gross. It's a huge sign of affection! =D

kissing is just a fun thing. its not going to be slobbery or anything, and your first couple kisses probably won't be that intimate, or long. just relax and let your tounge do the talking. have fun girl, its not meant to like freak you out!
