i had a relationship two years ago with a guy 3 years older than me. it ended after 4 months with a mutual decision to break up just because we lost interest in each other. he had another girlfriend by the end of the day and as you can imagine "shocked" was an understatement for my emotions that day. we didn't talk again for about a year when one day at around 3am we both happened to be online so we talked. then i didn't talk to him again. this week he's texted me everyday and we've been talking but its weird. its just like "whats up?" "nothing you?" "nothing....soooo" and then we don't talk until the next day. i didn't even know he still had my number because i deffinately did not have his. ok on to the question. what does he want?!!? why would someone randomly want to talk to their ex. its not like we hated each other, we just didn't talk. he's been with the girlfriend he had when we broke up ever since so im wondering if he's only talking to me because they broke up? but im not sure if they did and i dont want to ask because i dont want him to think i like him or want him back or anything. sooo why is he talking to me? i don't mind im just trying to figure out what he's thinking without asking him if thats possible.

omg this same exact thing is happening to me. the thing with my ex is that he said we could never be friends and blah blah blah and then one day he just talked to me out of no where. and now everytime he goes to my good friend's house he calls me and we talk for a while. hes flirting. a lot. but he also just broke it off with this girl that he obviously liked a lot better than me. but im just getting the feeling hes turning back to me as his plan B. since plan A didnt work out, im the backup. maybe this is your case. maybe he either A) wants you back. B) just wants to keep you as a friend because he thinks you're cool. C) made you his backup plan since the first plan didnt work out. i really hope for you that its not C. if anything, i hope its A or B. take care. :)

well i guess he misses you and wats to talk to you again. From what youve said he wants to be friends again. If by any chances he does say he likes you still then i think you should ask him if he's with his girl. For now though he seems like he wants to be friends.
