Question Posted Tuesday January 8 2008, 3:21 pm

I'm sorry, but I don't have a direct answer for your question. It is a good question though. So, I have decided to do some research on the subject, and have come up with a few websites that may have some information that you would find interesting. Here they are:

Now these are just a few sites that may help give you a clearer understanding of STDS. My husband had a theory that the Native Americans never had disease or illness until others started coming over here. Because there were no real sanitation means were practiced, (not the Native Americans, but the others) it developed into disease, bacterial, and viral infections. Thus, spreading it around to others. Monogomy has never been a set issue. People have always been unfaithful or players of their generation, making it spread faster.
I hope I've helped some?

lmao well some gay people humped apes that had HIV and they started passing around to everyone else they slept with. Im serious, thats how HIV started. But dont worry about getting it unless you do drugs, have unprotected sex or exchange blood. It is extremely hard for a virus to live outside its host for so long. They die instantly. Well, you can get other stds like herpes by kissing or sharing lipgloss. So dont share lipgloss and dont kiss everyone you see.

They are passed by chance. They just happen to reside in certain bodily fluids. When these fluids enter someone else's body, they also become infected. The virus doesn't do anything to help propagate itself other than existing.

The STDs came about by evolution, like everything else. They mutated from other viruses.

Human HIV specifically came from blood-to-blood contact with apes. By a hunter who was hunting the apes.

Regarding xxlilreddivaxx's answer(which should reappear here in a few days):
-STDs can be spread even with protected sex
-Many STDs can survive for hours or days without a host
-The type of herpes spread from kissing and lip gloss is not an STD. It will only affect your lip area, and might not be permanent.
