what do i do
i have been with my boyfriend for 3 years i recently asked him how many girls he has been with since we were together he said one he asked and i said none i didnt know he was talking about when we were broke up so i told him yeaterday i have been with one other man but him but we were broke up at the time and he said that he was with one other women when we were broke up bt now he is furious with me and said i lied to him i told him i didnt lie to him he asked while we were together not broke p but now he refuses to talk to me what did i do that was so wrong should i have just not told him ???

You have done nothing wrong because like you said he asked for when you were together. And yes it is a good job you told him because now everything is out and it can not cause trouble later on in your relationship :) I would just give him a few days too cool down and he'l soon come round and realise he is being stupid. He's just being stupid, just let it pass over until he calms down.
Then you HAVE to explain to him he's being a hypocrite, since he said he hasn't been with anyone but admitted he was with another girl. Mention you could have been just as pissed but you weren't because IT DOESN'T MATTER.
