can you really download a movie on a dvd onto your computer? or onto your itunes/ipod? i know this question has been asked but i searched and couldn't find it, sorry :(
Additional info, added Wednesday January 2 2008, 1:04 pm: is it illegal to download the dvds?. Want to answer more questions in the Technology category? Maybe give some free advice about: Computers? warlock answered Wednesday April 16 2008, 11:09 pm: What you need is software named DVD ripper. Some of it is free like Handbrake, DVD Shrink, etc. But if you need quality guarantee, high speed in ripping and more formats supported, try the paid software. I usually use Aimersoft DVD Ripper to rip content from DVDs to my computer. Here’s a link where you can find it: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
If you want to put videos into your iPod, make sure that the videos must be the format that iPod support like MP4, M4V. Otherwise, you need software to help you convert the format of the videos. You can find it on [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
At last, it’s hard to say whether it’s illegal or not that you rip DVDs. It depends on your purpose. [ warlock's advice column | Ask warlock A Question ]
